Greenfields Golf and Leisure has developed unfilled and filled putting green systems. Greenfields unfilled putting green systems are suitable only for short game chipping surfaces and can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications. The non directional 6.6 nylon fibre requires little maintenance, however due to its non directional nature provides consistent ball speeds from all directions.

Our filled putting green system allows the golf ball to react with exactly the same playing characteristics as that of natural grass. Quartz sand is used as an infill so as the golf ball hits the synthetic  green from a distance  its energy is absorbed providing a natural playing surface.

Our product can be installed in many forms ranging from single greens that are fantastic in private homes right through to full putting courses.
Our putting greens need no watering, mowing, or fertilising. GreenFields Golf and Leisure Greens last many years and will not be damaged by normal sun, wind, rain, snow, or ice.

Early in 2007 GreenFields Golf and Leisure would never have entertained the idea of a sand infill green. They truly believed it wasn’t possible to produce a realistic enough target green that incorporated a quality putting surface as well. Never has there been an infill product on the market that was good enough to be associated with the GreenFields Golf and Leisure brand... until now.

GreenFields Golf and Leisure created a unique and exclusive infill turf that is quite simply the best on the market. This sand infill product is not to be confused with conventional deep sand filled greens. The difference being with the GreenFields Golf and Leisure infill green you can hold a shot from 150 yards and still have a realistic putt.

When the ball hits the green from a long distance, the green has to react in exactly the same way as a green of natural grass. In order to absorb the energy from the ball it is necessary to use artificial grass filled with sand. The special round quartz sand will not compact.

Consisting of tufted, fibrillated 30mm polypropylene fibre, which needs to be defibrillated during installation. In the end the grass will be filled entirely with special round quartz sand.
